This very simple 14 gauge 3/8 ID European 4-1 belt was the very first piece of chainmaile that I ever made. It was done in bronze and steel and had a leather loop to tie it off.
This belt is also done in bronze and steel, this time in a 6-1 pattern. It was a gift for a friend back when I first started making chainmaile.
This belt is the next step up and slightly nicer. It is made from 16 gauge 3/8 ID Aluminum in a European 8-1 pattern. The middle row is black anodized aluminum.
This is the same as the above belt, except the middle row is green, and I attached two pieces of leather on the ends to close it with.

This belt is slightly nicer still, and is also made of 16 gauge 3/8 ID Aluminum in a European 8-1 pattern. It was a gift for my sister.
This is where we started getting into the fancy belts. This one is done in one of my favorite weaves, known as dragonscale. The larger rings are made of green anodized aluminum, and the small rings are acctually black neoprene, meaning the belt stretchs!
A variation on the belt shown above, this belt is also dragonscale but the scales run horizontally instead of vertically. The large rings are aluminum and the small rings are blue anodized aluminum.
